4. Publishing with FrontPage 2000
Important: Before you can publish directly from FrontPage you will need to install FrontPage Extensions on your account. To install the FrontPage extensions login to your control panel, click on "FrontPage Extensions" and follow the instructions.
To publish your site with FrontPage 2000, follow these steps:
» Open FrontPage 2000 and click on File
» Click Open Web.
» Click on Web Folders. Locate the Website that you created on your hard-drive.
» Click Open.
» Once you have opened your Website in FrontPage 2000, you are ready to publish the pages you created. Click on File, then click on Publish Web. The following box will appear:
» Enter your domain name as shown above or your IP address and click Publish. You will be prompted to enter your username and password:
» Enter your username and password.
» Click OK. FrontPage will now publish your site. This can take several minutes depending on the amount and size of your files.
Note: When the process is completed, you should see the following box:
